Quiconnect hires chief legal counsel

Quiconnect announced today the appointment of Dina Brewer to the position of General Counsel & Company Secretary. In this newly established role, Brewer will oversee all legal functions for the company. She will also take responsibility for key regulatory and government relations issues, also legal matter regarding contract negotiations. In announcing the appointment, CEO Troy Simoni commented, "Dina Brewer is joining Quiconnect at an important time in the company's history. I am confident that Dina's far-reaching experience will be a fantastic asset for our company". Brewer has over 12 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities, private equity and Internet related fields. She joined Quiconnect after serving at General Counsel for X-Stream and later Liberty Surf Group SA, an Internet service provider, with a market cap at IPO of Euros 2.5 billion (now acquired by Tiscali). Before that Brewer was at Morgan Stanley's private equity group in London. Previously she worked for the US law firm, Davis Polk & Wardwell, specialising in M&A, public offerings and private equity.

Brewer graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law School, both with cum laude honours.
