Quiconnect CEO and Sprint present at London WLAN Event

The high profile Wireless LAN Event took place at London Olympia in April.  Quiconnect CEO Troy Simoni, took part and spoke alongside Mark Brigman from US based Sprint.  This was an excellent opportunity for Simoni to be seen with Brigman, following the announcement that Sprint have chosen to work with Quiconnect to expand their WLAN coverage internationally.  Simoni and Brigman spoke on the first day of the Quiconnect sponsored WiFi conference, taking part in the CEO level panel "Wireless everywhere: the PWLAN revolution takes place".

Speaking on "Interconnecting High Value Locations Worldwide", Brigman focused on how the mobile workforce is growing and Sprint's extending WiFi footprint and worldwide expansion. Simoni covered how Sprint is working with Quiconnect to extend its WiFi network virtually and the benefits to service providers of creating virtual networks.

Fellow panel members included Dave Hagan, President, Boingo Wireless; Magnus McEwen-King, CEO, Broadreach Networks; George Polk, CEO, The Cloud and Joe Beatty, CEO, Concourse Communications.

Simoni also presented later in the day at the VoIP over Wireless session at the Wireless Networking seminar.

The Wireless LAN Event is one of the major shows in the WiFi calendar, with the biggest industry players taking part. Over 3,000 visitors attended and the show hosts Europe's biggest public WiFi conference.

Simoni commented,  "This was a great show for Quiconnect - presenting alongside Mark Brigman from Sprint was a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our services and solutions with a high profile customer.  Overall the show was a big success for Quiconnect - good customer attendance and interest and plenty of new contacts for us".
