Quiconnect's current focus is on the provision of wireless broadband interconnectivity services to Wi-Fi service providers and networks operators.

Two major stages in the evolution of wireless access are now beginning which will broaden this focus:

1) Enabled devices are no longer limited just to personal computers. New devices are gaining broadband wireless capabilities, giving rise to a range of new applications. The roll-out of new applications and devices to take advantage of both Wi-Fi networks and WiMAX networks is just beginning. In addition to the launch of dual mode (cellular and Wi-Fi) phones and wireless-enabled devices such as PDAs, special purpose devices such as consumer digital media devices, gaming consoles and dedicated Skype Wi-Fi phones are also appearing.

2) The launch and build out of a new wireless technology: WiMAX. Based on IEEE standard 802.16, WiMAX provides long range for broader coverage, faster data rates and lower costs. WiMAX will alter the mobile broadband landscape once again with enormous forecast growth in the next three to ten years.

As new network types become available (such as WiMAX) and the range of applications and devices able to utilise wireless broadband increases, Quiconnect is well positioned to continue to serve the Wi-Fi market while positioning to take advantage of the growth in the overall wireless broadband market including WiMAX as these changes gather momentum.

Quiconnect's management has demonstrated constructive and efficient use of funds since the company’s founding in 2001. During this time, the company has completed market and technical research, undertaken vital development, executed commercial contracts and is now delivering live services to numerous customers around the world. With commercial agreements spanning the globe, Quiconnect is experiencing rapid growth.
